Mass Communication Week is a five-day conference held each year in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Texas State University. It’s your chance to look to the future and hear professionals discuss issues, trends and careers in mass media. Mass Comm Week began in 1990 and has grown over the decades adding more speakers and events each year. In 2018, we had more than 55 events with 75+ speakers representing the fields of advertising, digital and electronic media, journalism, and public relations. Students participate by covering events, using social media and interacting with guests.
