About Hannah

Hannah Rucker is a news and traffic anchor for KVUE Daybreak in Austin and an alumna of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Texas State University. As a native Texan, she takes deep pride in telling stories in the capital of her beloved home state – particularly stories about children in the foster system looking for permanent homes. Before coming to KVUE, Hannah was a reporter in Lubbock and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
