About Juan

Juan Garcia majored in Electronic Media and Mass Communication at Texas State University. He started as a news reporter and assistant music director at KTSW 89.9. In his years at KTSW, he led the news department before becoming the Station Manager and spent some time in the Multimedia and Programming departments as a video producer and DJ. In his last semester at Texas State, he began interning at KUT 90.5 as a producer and host in the evenings. He is now a full-time producer and host on weekday mornings on KUT.
