Melinda Garvey to speak about New and Sustainable publications at Mass Communication Week

On Monday, students will learn what it is like to build and sustain a new publication in the digital era.
Melinda Garvey, publisher and co-founder of austin woman magazine started the magazine in 2002 after moving to Austin from Washington D.C.. Her magazine sponsors the Girl Scouts, the Junior League and the Susan G. Komen foundation.
Also speaking is Pat Niekamp, publisher of Texas CEO magazine whose mission is to connect Texas businessmen and women through the online resources.
Pat and Melinda will speak Monday October 25th at 11a.m.
