Jenifer Glenn to talk about event planning

Next Tuesday, students at Texas State will have the opportunity to learn more about the world of event planning from Texas State alumna Jenifer Glenn.

Glenn began her business, Tenant Link, Inc. in 1996 to provide tenant retention programs to commercial office buildings. She also created Let’s Party!, created with the purpose of helping industries outside of commercial real estate put on events.

She will talk to students about her experience at Texas State University and how her education guided her into her career after graduating. “I will speak at length about how I have used my education to build a successful event planning business that has endured difficult economic times,” Glenn said.

Her goal at the end of the session is for her audience to leave the auditorium with at least five ideas to put to work immediately as they plan and embark on their careers.

“As an event planner, I’m a master at putting the ‘fun’ in dysfunctional. I thrive on chaos and love to make things happen,” she said.

Glenn will speak at Centennial Hall, room 157, at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 26.
